1 Literacy Intervention – Initial Code 

Building the foundations of reading, spelling, and confidence.

A structured one-on-one program grounded in Sounds-Write and SPELD NSW frameworks. Children learn phonics, decoding, and spelling skills through explicit, sequential instruction.

Focus Areas:

Sound-to-print mapping and blending

Decodable reading and spelling

Vocabulary and sentence-building

Early writing and confidence

1:1 sessions (60 minutes)

1:1 sessions (60 minutes)

Strengthening reading and writing for older learners.

Oral storytelling and vocabulary

Confidence and communication

Format:

60-minute group or 1:1 sessions

Early Childhood NDIS (ECEI):

Families with children under 9 may be eligible for Early Childhood Early Intervention funding.
